The almost lost art of medically assessing patients

January 10, 2018

Currently, I work mostly with inpatients and see the importance of flexible physical evaluation in this settings.

Found this gem from the almost extinct generation that based its diagnosis on
"Medical semiotics".

Just Bravo to Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD, Director of Mount Sinai Heart and Herschel Sklaroff, MD, Clinical Professor of Medicine, Cardiology at Mount Sinai !!

Wish this almost lost art of Medical semiotics and paying attention to patient symptoms will not go extinct, and will be re-embraced by the new generation of doctors. I saw this trend of Tech prefered to semiotics already in Italy, where I learned Physiotherapy.
